The Scorpio Full Moon and the Crystals That Help You Speak Your Truth

There is something about a Scorpio full moon that has a way of bringing things to the surface. Scorpio energy is deep, honest, and not particularly interested in pretence. Where other moon phases might invite reflection or release, the Scorpio full moon tends to ask for truth. Not always comfortable truth. The kind that has been sitting quietly in the background, waiting for the right moment, waiting for you to speak your truth.
The full moon on 5th May 2026 falls in Scorpio, and if you have been holding something unsaid, you may well feel the pressure of it this week. A conversation you have been putting off. Something you have needed to say to someone, or to yourself. An acknowledgement of how you are really feeling beneath the version of fine you have been presenting to everyone else.
This is not a moon to push through with your head down. It is a moon to pay attention to.
The throat chakra and why it matters now
The throat chakra is the energetic centre associated with communication, truth and authentic expression. When it is open and balanced, we find it easier to say what we mean, ask for what we need, and speak honestly without fear. When it is blocked or closed, we tend to swallow things. To hold back. To feel a tightness in the chest or throat when something important needs to be said.
Scorpio full moon energy and throat chakra work belong together this week. Here are the four stones I reach for most when someone needs support in this area.

Celestite
Celestite is one of my favourites for this kind of work. It has a calm, elevated quality that feels less like being pushed to speak and more like being held while you find the words. It is particularly good if the truth you need to speak is tender, something emotional that has been hard to articulate. Holding celestite during journalling or quiet reflection can help what is underneath come forward more gently.

Blue lace agate
Blue lace agate is soft and reassuring, which makes it ideal for anyone who finds speaking their truth frightening rather than liberating. If you tend to worry about how things will land, or if you have a history of your words being dismissed or talked over, this stone has a quality that supports nervous communication. It is the one I often suggest before a difficult conversation.

Aquamarine
Aquamarine carries a clarity that I find very useful around this moon. It is associated with speaking calmly and clearly, particularly in situations where emotions are running high. If you know you need to say something but are worried about saying it badly, or with too much heat behind it, aquamarine can support a more measured expression of what you actually mean.

Sodalite
Sodalite supports the connection between thought and speech. It is good for the person who knows what they feel but struggles to translate that into words, which is one of the most common things I hear from people. I know something is wrong but I can't explain it. Sodalite helps bridge that gap.
How to work with these crystals this week
You do not need all four. One is enough.
Choose whichever feels most relevant to where you are. Hold it during quiet moments, keep it nearby when you are journalling, or sleep with it under your pillow in the days around the full moon. If there is a conversation you have been putting off, hold the stone before you have it. Not as a magic fix but as a physical reminder that you are steady enough to say what needs to be said.
The Scorpio full moon passes quickly. But the things it surfaces tend to stay until they are addressed. Working with these crystals this week is one way of meeting that energy with intention rather than letting it wash over you.
If you feel called to deeper work around truth, expression or releasing what you have been holding, an energy healing session can be a powerful support around full moon time. You are welcome to get in touch if that feels right for you.
