Chakras and Crystals
Chakras come from Indian yogic traditions and describe subtle energy centres that run along the spine, from the base of the body to the crown of the head.
Each one relates to a different aspect of how we experience life, things like safety, creativity, confidence, connection, communication, insight, and meaning and specific crystals can support specific chakras

Crystal Gifts for Mother’s Day
There is no perfect crystal for Mother’s Day. What matters most is intention. Choosing something that feels comforting, supportive, or meaningful, rather than symbolic or impressive. Often, the stones people are drawn to instinctively are the ones that land most gently. I usually suggest thinking about how someone might be feeling, rather than who they are expected to be.

Calcite and it's many colours
Calcite is one of those stones people often reach for without much thought. They pick one up, turn it over in their hands, and just know it feels right. That makes sense. Calcite is one mineral family, but it shows up in lots of different colours, and each one meets us in a slightly different place. The base is the same, but the tone shifts, and those shifts matter.

Crystals for grounding during winter
A lot of people tell me they feel less grounded in winter, even if they’re doing all the things that usually help them feel steady at other times of year. They’ll say things like, “I can’t settle,” or “I feel foggy and flat,” or “I know I should slow down, but that actually feels harder.” That’s not you doing something wrong. It’s winter.

Crystals for Children.
Children are often fascinated by crystals long before we explain anything about them. For many families, crystals become a small source of comfort. Not a solution, not a fix, just something steady and reassuring when emotions feel big or the world feels noisy.

Enter the Year of the Fire Horse 2026
Why February often feels more like the New Year than January
For a lot of people, January doesn’t feel like a real beginning. There’s pressure to reset and move forward, but the body often feels tired, heavy, and still catching up after winter and the festive season. That’s not a mindset problem. It’s timing.

Working With Crystals at the January New Moon
January often arrives with a long list of expectations. New goals, fresh starts, and a sense that we should already know what the year ahead is going to look like. For many people, that pressure doesn’t feel motivating. It feels heavy.

What’s Coming Up Over the Next Few Months
January is usually the month of resolutions, big plans, and deciding that everything needs to change at once. That’s never really been how I work.
I prefer to start the year more slowly. Taking time to settle back in after Christmas, pay attention to what feels useful to focus on, and ease into the year rather than rushing ahead of it.

Crystals Have Always Been Chosen This Way
Working with crystals is not a modern idea. Long before there were books, lists, or online advice, people worked with stones they felt drawn to and noticed how they responded. The ancient Egyptians used crystals such as lapis lazuli, carnelian, and turquoise in jewellery, amulets, and burial items. These stones were valued for protection and support, both in everyday life and in ritual. Lapis lazuli in particular was prized for its depth of colour and the sense of clarity and

Blue Monday, and Finding Small Pockets of Joy in January
By the time Blue Monday comes around, January has usually settled in properly. The excitement of Christmas has passed, routines are back, and the year suddenly feels long again. For some people, this point in the month brings a noticeable dip in energy or mood. For others, it just feels flat or heavy rather than actively low. I don’t see Blue Monday as something that needs fixing or pushing through. It’s more of a pause point. A moment to notice how you’re actually feeling, w

Christmas Crystals for a Calmer, Kinder Festive Season
Christmas looks and feels different for everyone. Some people dive straight into the excitement. Others feel tired, stretched, emotional, or a bit all over the place. Most of us sit somewhere in the middle. It’s a lovely season, but it’s full, and it can easily push you past your limit without you noticing.
This is the time of year when people start asking me which crystals genuinely help at Christmas, and the truth is, you don’t need a big collection. A handful of well-ch

Vision Boards and Crystals for the Year Ahead
January always arrives with a strange mix of expectation and pressure. Everywhere you look there are messages telling you to set ten goals, reinvent yourself, get organised, get motivated, get everything together by the end of week one. It’s a lot. And it’s not especially helpful. The truth is, most of us need a moment to simply breathe after December. To slow down, get our energy back in order, and check in with ourselves before we start deciding what we want the whole year

Inside Our Christmas Crystal Mandala Workshop at The Grove, Watford
Christmas is a busy season for most of us, so stepping into the warm stillness of The Grove’s Tranquillity Room felt like the perfect moment to slow down, breathe, and create with intention. The spa has that cosy, calming feel at this time of year. Soft lighting, quiet corners, and that sense of being away from the rush even though you’re only a few steps from it.

Crystal Advent Calendars and Crackers
There’s something special about slowing down before December begins. The season often arrives with excitement, celebration and, for many, a little too much noise. That’s why I love creating ways to bring more calm and connection into it, small rituals that remind us to pause and breathe amidst the rush.
This year, I’ve put together a limited collection of Crystal Advent Calendars as a gentle way to bring a little peace into your month. Each one holds 24 tumble stones, chos

The Energy of Letting Go: Crystals to Support You as the Year Closes
Crystals to Support You as the Year Closes
As November draws to a close, there’s a quiet shift that starts to happen. The light changes, the days shorten and life begins to slow down. This is often the time when we naturally start to reflect on what the year has brought us, what we’ve outgrown, and what we’re ready to release before the new year begins.

Crystals for Calm
Stress Awareness Day always feels like an important pause in the year. It reminds us that calm isn’t something that just happens, it’s something we create space for. So many people I meet, whether in healing sessions or at events, tell me they’re tired but can’t slow down. Their minds are full, their bodies tense, and they’re carrying far more than they realise.

How to Work with Super Seven During the November Supermoon
The November Supermoon always feels like a turning point. Its light is brighter, its pull stronger, and its energy more noticeable than usual. Supermoons tend to amplify everything, emotions, intuition and the intentions we set beneath them. This month’s Beaver Supermoon, on 5 November, invites us to pause, release what feels heavy and open space for clarity.

Crystal events
The next few months are full of events, fairs, and workshops, and I’m really looking forward to them. There are Coffee & Crystals mornings as usual. The next one is 4th October, where you can pop in for a cuppa and a browse. I’ll also be holding my Christmas shopping events in December, which have become a bit of a tradition now.

A Supermoon for Super Release
On the night of 6th and 7th October we’ll see a Super Hunter’s Moon. The Hunter’s Moon is the full moon that comes after the Harvest Moon, once used as a guide for gathering what was needed to carry people through the colder months. This year it comes as a supermoon, closer to the Earth, brighter and more powerful. You may notice the energy of this one more strongly than usual.
